If you’re like us, sometimes the thought of dressing up for the day sounds just plain horrible. Just throwing on a cute pair of leggings and an oversized cropped sweatshirt and calling it a day sounds MUCH better. It’s OK, we’ve all been there and we’ve got you covered. On these “lazy” style days, why not still feel cute?! We have two main tips on how to take your athleisure look from blah to trendy with as little effort as possible…intrigued?! We are going to teach you how…

Tip #1: Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!

You can’t go wrong with accessorizing…we really think the more the merrier when it comes to necklace and bracelet stacks, fun hoop earrings, and hair accessories! And this remains true for athleisure and cozy daytime looks.

To dress up our athleisure outfits, we always throw on a layered chain necklace…or three. Then gold hoop earring are a must to make it look like you’ve got your sh*t together (even if you truly just rolled out of bed). We love layered chain necklaces because you can just keep layering them on and we really think that they will never go out of style. They are a classic wardrobe essential. Our layered chain necklaces are the perfect addition to any outfit and really tie an athleisure outfit together. Best part may be that you can leave them on as you transition to a more elevated look. Also add a hair scarf, braided headband, or tortoise claw clip to add another finishing touch to your now polished look. Grab a sling bag and you’re out the door!

Tip #2: Ditch your raggedy old hoodie for a cool oversized cropped sweatshirt

While we love an oversized hoodie look, when we are going for a more polished athleisure look we tend to opt for an oversized cropped sweatshirt to show off a little more curve while maintaining all the comfort. Choose one of our neutral or embroidered styles to round out your look, combining neutral and comfortable pieces with stylish accents.
